Mid Century Inspired African Mahogany LP Holder with Floating Back
This Record LP holder would fit in the pages of a Herman Miller catalog. It is made from solid Mahogany ( no laminate here). 
It has a floating backer held up with wooden arms. 
Records could go in with spines facing forward or covers facing forward to flip through. 
The wood is finished with Tung Oil and though there is no sheen the natural tendencies of the African Mahogany make it look like its on fire.
No Stain just the natural wood with the tung oil to make the wood pop and provide a  protectant that also  accents the wood's beauty.
The Swirles of blonde and redish brown create a one of a kind conversation piece that fits in with any decor.  
The aesthetics come from inspiration of the greats, The Eames' , Nelson Jacobsen etc etc.  
The Exaggerated tall legs give this table a lofty feel while still remaining grounded. 
 
The table was designed to store LP records but could be used in other applications such a behind the couch or foyer table. 
Hand crafted in St Augustine Florida 
Dimensions:
Table top/shelf is 41" wide x 34" tall x 16" deep.
Top of floating back is 44" tall.
Storage sections  are 13" wide and can hold around 50 records with covers facing forward and about 80 with spines facing outward.
